Callings Ground breakers-MN

I will be focusing on the first profile in the ground breakers. Which focus on Marc Anderson Lawson, 42, talks with his sister, Karen Lawson, 45, about their father, video game inventor Jerry Lawson. 

This story was very motivational and teaches how to be a good father and teacher in many ways. Also, the way this profile is organized is like going through a person's life journey. For example, at starting of the profile it showed that Jerry Lawson was loved his kids and his kids loved him to because as Marc Anderson Lawson said “And as soon as we heard that, we would just get up from wherever we were and run to hug Dad”(p-27). Then they talk about their dad’s background how he word hard to be where he is now. After talking about their dad’s background they jumped into talk about how he taught his kids to be successful.

When Marc Anderson and Karen Lawson were kids Jerry Lawson created a video game for them and let them play the video game. He waited till his kids were fully connected with the game because that’s when he decided to take the game away. This was very clever thing to do because his kids were so connected to the video games they would do anything to get that freedom back. So, he told them to create this own video game by programing in this way they are learning and having fun at same time. Which helped them in their carrier. As I said at the beginning this profile was like a life journey, so it also talked about Jerry Lawson’s last chapter of his life which was rough.
